Rudy Maxa, award-winning consumer travel expert and journalist was on the latest episode of the Steve Perillo Travel Show. Maxa, who has won an Emmy award for his show “Rudy Maxa’s World”, aired on PBS television, is also a contributing editor with National Geographic Traveler magazine. His travel tips have helped thousands of travelers save time and money.
In his interview with Steve Perillo, the CEO of Perillo Tours, Rudy Maxa reveals that he started his career as an investigative journalist with the Washington Post but later shifted to travel journalism. He says that he has certain responsibilities being a travel journalist. He does not encourage the idea of giving positive reviews about hotels or other places just because he is offered freebies.
